General Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Hotel Lapérouse (SAS 7ID)
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern all services provided by the Hotel Lapérouse (SAS 7ID), located at 19 Place Lapérouse, 81000 Albi.
These GTC comply with the provisions of Articles L. 221-5, L. 221-13 and L. 111-2 of the Consumer Code. They govern the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of booking and using the establishment's services, including accommodation, catering, and space rental.
2. Reservations
Reservation Methods
Reservations can be made via:
- Telephone: by contacting the hotel directly.
- Email: to the hotel's official email address.
- Website: via the secure form online.
Booking Confirmation
In accordance with Article L. 221-13 of the Consumer Code, a written confirmation containing all essential information (prices, included services, cancellation conditions) will be sent to the customer on a durable medium. The reservation becomes final upon receipt of this confirmation and, if applicable, payment of a deposit.
Last-minute reservations
For reservations made less than 48 hours before the arrival date, confirmation by telephone or email is mandatory.
3. Prices
Display of prices
In accordance with Article L. 112-1 of the French Consumer Code, room and service prices are displayed in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (TTC), including the tourist tax.
Price revisions
Prices may be modified depending on the period (high season, low season) or events. However, the rates indicated at the time of booking, validated by the customer, remain applicable.
Special Offers and Promotions
Promotional offers, as specified in Article L. 121-19 of the Consumer Code, cannot be combined with other current discounts, unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment Terms
Payment Methods
Payment for services must be made:
- Upon arrival, for standard stays,
- In advance, for certain promotional offers or special conditions.
Accepted payment methods
- Bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
- Cash (within the legal limit stipulated by Article L. 112-6 of the French Monetary and Financial Code).
- Bank transfer (if agreed upon in advance).
Deposits
In accordance with Article L. 214-1 of the French Consumer Code, a deposit of 50% of the total amount may be required for certain services (groups, events). This deposit is non-refundable in the event of late cancellation (see Article 5).
5. Cancellations and Modifications
Standard Cancellation
- Free Cancellation up to 48 hours before the arrival date.
- Late cancellation (less than 48 hours before arrival): the deposit is retained or one night is charged, in accordance with article L. 221-28 (12°) of the Consumer Code.
Groups and Events
Specific cancellation conditions for group or event bookings (weddings, seminars) will be contractually defined at the time of booking.
No-show
In case of no-show, The entire stay will be billed, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 (12°).
6. Arrival and Departure Times
- Check-in: at from 3:00 PM.
- Check-out: before 11:00 AM.
Late Arrivals
For any arrival after 10:00 PM, the client must inform the hotel.
Check-in
Upon check-in, in accordance with Article R. 611-42 of the Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners and the Right of Asylum (CESEDA), each client must present a valid form of identification.
7. Liability
The hotel declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage to clients' personal belongings, in accordance with Article 1952 of the Civil Code. It is recommended to use the safes provided layout in each room.
Behavior
Any harmful behavior or behavior contrary to the rules of decorum may result in immediate expulsion without refund, in accordance with Article L. 121-11 of the Consumer Code.
8. Mediation and disputes
Consumer mediator
In accordance with Article L. Article 616-1 of the Consumer Code states that in the event of a dispute not resolved after a written complaint to the hotel, the customer may contact the Tourism and Travel Mediator:

Before contacting the mediator, the customer must send their complaint by registered mail with return receipt requested to the hotel.
Jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction will depend on the place of consumption (Article R. 631-3 of the Consumer Code):
- The competent court of Albi in the event of a dispute with a merchant.
- The court of the consumer's domicile or place of delivery for individuals.
9. Personal Data Protection
The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, data files and civil liberties.
The customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their data (Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR).
10. Penalties for late payment
In case of late payment:
- Penalties: 15% interest per year, calculated from the day after the due date (Article L. 441-10 of the French Commercial Code).
- Fixed compensation: €40 excluding VAT, as provided for in Article D. 441-5 of the Commercial Code, for recovery costs.
11. Force Majeure
In accordance with Article 1218 of the Civil Code, the hotel cannot be held liable in the event of impossibility of fulfilling its obligations due to unforeseen or insurmountable events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.).
12. Facilities and Services
Swimming Pool and Shared Facilities
The pool is open between 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM. Access to the swimming pool is reserved for guests. Children must be accompanied at all times.
Pets
Pets are welcome at an additional charge of €15 per night, per animal.
